BEML bags Rs 758 crore orders for supply of High Mobility Vehicles from MoD
BEML Limited has said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 758 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of High Mobility Vehicles.

BEML Limited has said that it has bagged orders worth Rs 758 crore from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of High Mobility Vehicles. Manufactured at BEML's Palakkad Plant in Kerala, these vehicles would be supplied to Indian Army in a span of one year.
In a regulatory filing, BEML said, "BEML Limited, the leading Defence equipment manufacturer and a 'Schedule A' Company under the Ministry of Defence (MoD) received prestigious orders from MoD for the supply of High Mobility vehicles, at an approximate value of Rs 758 Crore."
These High Mobility vehicles would play a key role in the logistics management of the Indian Army leveraging on its exceptional cross country capabilities. These vehicles would enable armoured fighting vehicles, troops, ammunition and stores to be moved to far-flung, difficult terrains in operational areas.
Shares of BEML Ltd. was last trading in BSE at Rs.992.65 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1007.9. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 1,002 and intraday low of 985.
